# Project brief — Ranch Home Drawing Set

Client: a family of four building on a flat suburban lot.
Deliverable wanted: a complete first drawing set for a single-storey ranch home. Drawings only for now — no renders, video or 3D in this round.

## Program

- Total area: about 2,300 sq ft on one level, no basement
- 3 bedrooms: a primary bedroom with its own bathroom, plus two further bedrooms
- 2 bathrooms in total
- Open-plan living, kitchen and dining as one room
- A laundry room
- An attached two-car garage
- Gable roof

## What we need back

- A dimensioned floor plan
- Elevations for all four sides
- A building section
- A printable sheet set
- A CAD file we can open in our drafting software, and a BIM file for the engineer
- Room, door and window schedules with a rough cost estimate

Keep the plan simple and buildable. Budget is modest; no vaulted ceilings or complex roof forms.
