AI Style Transfer for Architecture: Match Any Reference Image

Upload your render or photo and a reference image, and Archify restyles the materials, palette, and mood to match the reference — your composition and camera angle stay exactly where you put them.

100 credits per run · Two images in, one restyled image out · New accounts start with 500 free credits.

How It Works

From two images to a restyled render in three steps

01

Upload your base image and a style reference

Bring the render or photo you want to change, plus a second image whose look you want to borrow — a different project, a mood board photo, a competitor render, anything.

02

Add transfer notes if you want to steer it

Optional — write a line like "Keep composition, borrow palette and material mood from the reference.," or toggle "Maintain colors — keep the input's exact colors" to lock your original's exact colors while only the materials and mood shift.

03

Get your image back in the reference's style

Each run is 100 credits. Archify keeps your base image's composition and camera angle and re-materials it to match the reference's palette and finish.

Who It's For

Built for borrowing a look you can point to, not describe

Show a client the same design in a different material language

Already have a finished render? Feed it a reference photo of a material direction a client is asking about — warmer wood tones, a different stone, a darker palette — without re-rendering the whole scene from scratch.

Match a new addition to an existing building's palette

Upload a render of the new piece and a photo of the existing structure as the reference, and get a version that borrows the existing building's material and color language for an apples-to-apples comparison.

Pull a mood from outside your own project

Found a magazine photo, a competitor's render, or a Pinterest board with exactly the mood you want? Use it as the reference instead of trying to describe it in a text prompt.

Honest Limits

What style transfer is — and isn't

Knowing these up front is how you avoid being surprised by the result, or in front of a client.

A material and mood match, not a pixel-identical copy

The result borrows the reference's palette, materials, and lighting mood — it won't reproduce the reference image's own building, furniture, or layout. Your base image's composition and camera angle are what carry over, not the reference's content.

Two images in, one generative pass — not a manual edit

This is a single AI generation, not a layer-by-layer manual recolor. Fine details can shift between runs even with the same two images, so treat the result as a strong starting point and regenerate if a specific detail needs changing.

A presentation visual, not a materials spec

Use the result to communicate a direction to a client or teammate — it isn't a manufacturer SKU or a material takeoff. Confirm the real product and finish with your supplier before anything gets ordered.

FAQ

Architectural style transfer, answered

What is AI style transfer for architecture renders?+

It's a tool that takes two images — your own render or photo, and a reference image with a look you want — and generates a new version of your image carrying the reference's materials, color palette, and mood, while keeping your original's composition and camera angle.

Does it change the layout or geometry of my building?+

No — Archify's Style Transfer tool is built to hold your base image's composition and camera angle fixed and change only materials, color, and lighting mood. If you need to change the geometry itself, that's a job for Sketch to Image, Exterior AI, or Design Studio instead.

What does "Maintain colors — keep the input's exact colors" do?+

Toggle it on and Archify keeps your base image's exact colors while still borrowing the reference's material and mood direction — useful when you like your own palette but want the reference's finish or lighting character.

Can I use any image as the style reference?+

Yes — a different one of your own renders, a client's reference photo, a magazine or Pinterest image, or a competitor's render. There's no restriction on where the reference comes from; just make sure you have the right to use it the way you intend to.

How is this different from the Imagine or Exterior AI tools?+

Imagine and Exterior AI generate or restyle a scene from a text prompt (plus, for Exterior AI, a source photo). Style Transfer is built specifically around two images — yours and a reference — so you're matching a look you can point to instead of describing it in words.

How much does it cost on Archify?+

Each run is 100 credits, the same price as every other image tool. On Starter ($29/mo launch price, 3,000 credits) that's about 30 runs a month, watermarked. On Pro ($79/mo launch price, 10,000 credits) that's about 100 a month, watermark-free. Unused credits roll over while you stay subscribed.

Is there a free way to try it?+

New accounts start with 500 free credits. That's enough for a few runs before you need a plan — no credit card required to start.
