AI Interior Relighting — Change a Room Photo's Lighting Mood

See the same room in a different light without a reshoot — change an interior photo's lighting mood — golden hour, daylight, cozy evening, or soft overcast — designed to keep the room itself untouched.

100 credits per photo · Every plan · New accounts start with 500 free credits.

How It Works

From one interior photo to any lighting mood in three steps

01

Upload the interior photo

Open the Edit & Enhance tools and pick Relight. Works from any interior shot — a phone photo, a listing photo, or a finished render.

02

Pick the lighting mood

Choose from golden hour, bright daylight, cozy evening, soft overcast — or add a short note, like which window the light should come through.

03

Download the result

Each run is 100 credits. Change an interior photo's lighting mood — golden hour, daylight, cozy evening, or soft overcast — designed to keep the room itself untouched.

Who It's For

Built for the light a photo didn't get

Real-estate agents & photographers

A listing shot at the wrong time of day can get a second life — show the same room with warm golden-hour light or bright, even daylight without going back for a reshoot.

Interior designers & stagers

Present the same finished room in a few different moods for a client deck, so they can picture it at different times of day before committing to window treatments or lighting fixtures.

Architects & short-term rental hosts

Give a portfolio shot or a listing photo a cozier evening feel, or a brighter daytime one, to match the mood a project page or booking listing is going for.

Honest Limits

What AI interior relighting is — and isn't

Knowing these up front is how you set the right expectation with a client.

Lighting mood only

Relight is built to change the light — warmth, direction, and overall mood — not the room itself. Furniture, layout, and architecture stay as photographed.

Four presets, on purpose

Only 4 moods are offered (golden hour, bright daylight, cozy evening, soft overcast) because those are the ones that hold up convincingly across a range of rooms — rather than add presets that look fake on some photos, the list stays short.

Not the same as the AI Relight button

Archify also has a separate "AI Relight" action you can apply directly to a render you've just generated, with its own five presets (including blue hour and night) and a light-direction control. This page is about the standalone Relight tool in Edit & Enhance, which starts from any interior photo you upload — not from a render you just made.

FAQ

AI interior relighting, answered

What does Archify's Relight tool actually do?+

Change an interior photo's lighting mood — golden hour, daylight, cozy evening, or soft overcast — designed to keep the room itself untouched.

Which lighting moods can I generate?+

4: Golden hour, Bright daylight, Cozy evening, Soft overcast. Each one is designed to change the light across the whole room, not just add a colour tint.

Will it change the room itself?+

No — it's designed to keep the room untouched. Furniture placement, architecture, and finishes stay as photographed; only the lighting mood changes.

Is this the same as the "AI Relight" button on a render?+

No, they're two different features. The Relight tool on this page is a standalone tool in Edit & Enhance — upload any interior photo and pick a mood. "AI Relight" is a separate one-click action you can apply to a render right after Archify generates it, with its own five presets (golden hour, overcast, blue hour, night interior, studio) plus a light-direction control.

Where do I use it?+

Relight is a standalone tool in Edit & Enhance, alongside Render Enhancer, 4K Upscaler, Inpainting, and AI Eraser. Upload any interior photo and pick a mood.

How much does it cost?+

Each run is 100 credits — the same per-run price as every other Archify render tool. See the pricing page for current plan and credit-pack rates; unused plan credits roll over while you stay subscribed, and one-time credit packs never expire.

Is there a free way to try it?+

New accounts start with 500 free credits. That's enough for a few lighting moods before you need a plan — no credit card required to start.
