Image to 3D Model — Turn Photos Into a Textured 3D Model Your Client Can Place in AR

Upload one to four photos of a building, room, or object and 3D Studio generates a textured 3D model. Spin it in the browser, send a private link your client opens in AR on their phone with no app and no account, or download GLB, OBJ, USDZ, and STL for any 3D software, AR viewer, or 3D printer.

400 credits per model · Extra photo angles free · New accounts start with 500 free credits.

How It Works

From photos to a shareable 3D model in three steps

01

Upload one to four photos

A single photo works; two to four angles of the same subject noticeably improve the far side of the model and cost nothing extra. Photograph the real building, room, or object — a 2D blueprint or elevation drawing comes back as a flat slab, and the app warns you before you spend.

02

Generate the textured model

3D Studio returns a textured mesh with high-resolution textures in minutes for 400 credits. Failed generations refund automatically.

03

Share, place in AR, or download

Spin it in the browser, create a private share link your client opens on their phone and places in their own room in AR, or download GLB, OBJ, USDZ, or STL for any 3D app, AR viewer, or 3D printer.

What You Get

Every output, from the same model

GLB, OBJ, USDZ, STL

Four downloads per model: GLB for real-time and web, OBJ for most 3D software, USDZ for iPhone, iPad, and Mac AR, STL for 3D printing.

AR on iPhone and Android

View in AR places the model on a real floor or table at true scale — Apple's AR viewer on iPhone, Google's on Android. Pinch to scale it to tabletop size or walk around it full-size.

Solid or hologram

Switch AR between the real textured model and a translucent, self-lit hologram that lets the client's actual room show through — useful when the model overlaps real furniture.

Private client links

One click creates a private, unlisted link that opens in any phone or desktop browser with no app and no account. The model is saved to Archify, so the link keeps working.

Restyle for 150 credits

Right model, wrong materials? Restyle it in the 3D Workshop instead of regenerating — a fraction of the price of a new model.

Import your own models free

Drop in a .glb, .obj, or .stl from any 3D app (up to 50 MB) and it gets the same viewer, sharing, and AR — no credits.

Who It's For

Built for showing a thing before it exists — or far from where it does

Architects & designers

Turn a few site photos or a physical study model into something a client can hold in AR at the first meeting, before any 3D modelling has started.

Real-estate teams

A listing photo becomes a 3D model a buyer can spin and place in AR from a link in the listing or a text message.

Builders, product & furniture

Photograph a product, a prototype, or a finished room and get a shareable 3D version — and an STL if you want to print it.

Pricing

What image-to-3D costs on Archify

400 credits per generated model, 150 to restyle one, and importing your own models is free.

Starter

$29/mo launch price

3,000 credits every month — about 7 models. Archify watermark included. Unused credits roll over while you stay subscribed.

Pro

$79/mo launch price

10,000 credits every month — about 25 models. Watermark-free downloads and the video tools. Unused credits roll over while you stay subscribed.

Every plan includes the full Archify tool set — rendering, virtual staging, floor plans, and on Pro and Studio the video tools — at their own per-run credit cost. See current plans and one-time credit packs.

Honest Limits

What a generated 3D model is — and isn't

Concept-grade, not survey-grade

A model generated from photographs is convincing massing and texture, not measured geometry. Use it to visualise and share, not to dimension from.

One fused mesh

Generated models come back as a single welded shell. You can restyle, scale, and present them; you can't select and move an individual wall or door. For editable geometry, model in Design Studio and export a GLB.

AR follows real-world physics

On recent iPhones, real objects hide virtual ones behind them. Place the model on open floor; if it overlaps a real sofa, the sofa wins — that's Apple's AR viewer, not a bug.

FAQ

Image to 3D, answered

How does image to 3D work?+

You upload one to four photos of the same subject — a building, a room, an object — and an AI model reconstructs a textured 3D mesh from them. Archify's 3D Studio runs that for you and gives the result an interactive viewer, a private share link, AR viewing on phones, and downloads in GLB, OBJ, USDZ, and STL.

What photos give the best 3D model?+

Real photographs, in even light, with the whole subject in frame and nothing cutting across it. Two to four angles around the subject help the far side the most, and additional angles cost nothing. Don't upload a floor plan, an elevation, or a blueprint — a flat drawing comes back as a warped slab, and 3D Studio warns you before it spends your credits on one.

How much does it cost?+

400 credits per generated model, and 150 credits to restyle a finished one. On the Starter plan ($29/mo launch price, 3,000 credits) that's about 7 models a month; on Pro ($79/mo launch price, 10,000 credits) about 25. Importing a model you already have is free on every plan. Unused credits roll over while you stay subscribed.

Can my client view it in AR without installing anything?+

Yes. They open the link in their phone's browser and tap View in AR — iPhone uses Apple's built-in AR viewer, Android uses Google's. No app, no account. Shareable client links are a Studio-tier feature; the in-app AR viewer is available on every plan.

Can I edit the 3D model afterwards?+

You can restyle its materials in the 3D Workshop (150 credits), scale and present it, and open it in any 3D application via GLB or OBJ. Generated models are a single fused mesh, so you can't pick up an individual wall and move it. If you need editable geometry — walls, doors, levels — draw the building in Design Studio instead and export a GLB from there.

Which 3D software can open the downloads?+

GLB opens in Blender, Unreal, Unity, three.js, and most real-time tools; OBJ in nearly every 3D application including SketchUp, Rhino, 3ds Max, and Maya; USDZ in Apple's AR viewer and on Mac; STL in any slicer for 3D printing.

Is there a free way to try it?+

New accounts start with 500 free credits. That's enough for a generated model and a restyle before you need a plan — and importing a model you already have is free. No credit card required to sign up.
