What it does
Polycam turns an iPhone or iPad into a 3D scanner using LiDAR or photogrammetry, and exports meshes and point clouds in formats CAD and BIM tools can read.
It is the cheapest realistic way to capture existing conditions or a physical model, and accurate enough for early design work — not for construction-grade survey.
