What it does
Polycam turns an iPhone or iPad into a 3D scanner using LiDAR or photogrammetry, and exports meshes and point clouds in formats CAD and BIM tools can read.
It is one of the cheapest ways to capture existing conditions or a physical model, and accurate enough for early design work — not for construction-grade survey.
